I am awake at a time I didn’t realise existed

I feel like I am dreaming right now. My mind is working in scenes, ones that aren’t quite ready to be put together yet. Perhaps I should sleep and when I wake things will seem real again.

I can’t stop playing scenes of you in my head. You are so wonderful and my dreams can’t get enough of you. One day I won’t need to imagine that you are here with me always.

I wonder if I've been changed in the night? Let me think. Was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I'm not the same, the next question is 'Who in the world am I?' Ah, that's the great puzzle!
